Total distance ≈ 18 mi • Typical drive ≈ 30–35 min in normal traffic
- Head west on FM 1431 (Whitestone Blvd) from the US-183 / 183A area in Cedar Park and stay on it for about 7 mi, passing through Jonestown.
- Turn left onto Anderson Mill Rd / FM 2769 toward Volente and follow the winding hill-country road for roughly 8 mi, skirting Cypress Creek Park before descending into the lakeside village of Volente.
- Continue straight through the three-way stop at Volente Beach Water Park; remain on FM 2769 for another 0.6 mi as it curves right and climbs a short hill.
- Turn left onto Lime Creek Rd at the brown “Sandy Creek Marina” sign and drive about 1.5 mi of narrow, twisty curves.
- Arrive at Sandy Creek Marina — gated entrance at 8714 Lime Creek Rd, Volente TX 78641. Enter the gate and follow the drive downhill to parking and the marina office—welcome to Lake Travis!
- Last convenient fuel and groceries are along FM 1431 in Jonestown.
- Anderson Mill Rd and Lime Creek Rd are narrow with blind curves; keep speeds modest and watch for cyclists.
- Cellular coverage generally holds, but downloading an offline map before Volente is a smart backup.
